    At Cantigny Park, we would have a hard time imagining day-to-day operations without the help of our volunteers. In fact, we couldn't do it without them. Our volunteers are a wonderful mix of generous, dedicated, and talented people who help make Cantigny what it is.

    How Do I Get Started?

    Review the volunteer opportunities currently available and apply online if you see one that meets your interests! It’s as easy as that!

    Once your application is received, it will be reviewed and passed on to the appropriate department’s volunteer coordinator. The department coordinator will contact you and arrange for a convenient time to meet one-on-one to discuss the opportunity further and complete the application process. On-the-job training and supervision is provided for all volunteer positions.

    Enjoy a leisurely catered continental breakfast, nibble and nosh as you find your "team" of folks who want to work together to wrap the gifts for a specific "adopt a senior family. Attend even if you don't enjoy wrapping (we'll put you to work writing out labels, boxing the wrapped gifts post pictures at the close of the morning or simply enjoy your presence! 

    ASSP will supply tape, scissors, paper, name labels, bows and ribbons so all we need are your willing hands and happy vibes.

    You are also welcome to BYO holiday accoutrements if you wish to contribute to the festivities. Sturdy boxes for the more cumbersome items such as TP/Detergent/Boots and shirt/sweater boxes are quite welcome!

    Volunteer members shopped from the simple listed items requested to bless those in need within DuPage county.

    Get "team" photos of your workgroup and then a full "attendee" photo with all the gifts before you head off to work with a spring in your step regardless of the weather!
